Abstract
Composed of 5 centers spread across 2 continents, the French-speaking Olympic Sports Medicine Research Network (ReFORM) aims to improve injury prevention and athlete health within the Francophonie. The objective of the study was to assess the impact of the network on francophone sports and health professionals. An anonymous online questionnaire was completed by 357 participants from francophone countries (Canada, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, etc.). Questions related to the knowledge of the network, the proposed activities and the use of developed tools were asked. Suggestions and improvement paths were also proposed. The results indicate that 63% of participants are familiar with the network, but only 46% are aware of its specific activities. The use of the tools offered by ReFORM remains limited, with only 18% of respondents incorporating them into their professional practice. Nevertheless, participants who have already attended events organized by the network (37%) hold a very positive opinion of them. Suggestions for improving the network include better communication, particularly through newsletters and the development of accessible online training programs.
